PRACTICE EXPERIENCE
1985 to 1990:               Established one of the first modern apothecaries in the Sydney region, Wildcrafted Herbals and Naturopathic Centre (WHNC) in Newport, Sydney.
                                       Gained experience in the manufacture of a wide range of herbal products from extracts to topical preparations, as well as clinical experience. 
1990 to 2002:             Operated a herbal practice in the Newport Business Centre, Sydney.
2003 to 2014:             Operated a herbal practice in Avalon, Sydney.
2014 to 2016:              Clinic NS Health, Dee Why. 
2016 to Present:        Clinic 11d The Avenue, Newport.
The clinic operates as a Not for Profit Foundation called the Sweetgrass Foundation.  It appeared to me that the people in most need of help where the least able to afford it over the long term & so have set up the foundation to address this, so there are those that can afford it who pay full fees right through to those who can’t who are treated for free.

 
ACADEMIC POSITIONS
1998 to 2005:              Head of the Botanical medicine faculty at The Australasian College of Natural Therapies (ACNT), Surry Hills, Sydney.
2004 to 2014:             Unit coordinator Post graduate Masters in Phytotherapy, along with Associate Professor Kerry Bone, University of New England, Armidale, NSW.
